An awareness program to combat Conjunctivitis was held at Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus on 25th November,2022.
The awareness talk was to acquaint the students about the symptoms and the preventive measures to be taken for pink eyes.
Our Chief guest Dr. Venkataraman Arvind, Dr Arvind Vision Care Eye Hospital presided over the program and interacted with facts on diagnosis, management and treatment of conjunctivitis, including various antibiotics and alternatives to antibiotic use were detailed to sensitize the students.
This awareness program was a proactive approach to raise awareness advocating the message that ‘Prevention is better than Cure’.
