Patrician College of Arts and Science 17th Graduation Day !
Patrician College of Arts and Science celebrated its 17th graduation day ceremony at the institute premises on 30th October 2021. Graduates received their graduation certificates from the chief guest, Dr. S. Sriman Narayanan, Vice-Chancellor, Vels Institute of Science & Technology.
The programme started with an Academic Precession followed by the invocation song Tamiz Tahai Vazthu, and the opening of the graduation ceremony by the Director and Secretary Rev. Bro. Dr. S. Arokiyaraj. Then the welcome speech was delivered by The principal. The chief guest, Dr. S. Sriman Narayanan, Vice-Chancellor, Vels Institute of Science & Technology in his address pointed out that the great responsibility is laid on the shoulders of the grandaunts to lead the nation into its splendid future. Addison to this charge, the chief guest lauded great effort of the institution on sustaining the academic pursuit during the pandemic.
Names of the toppers of each department were read and they were awarded with the degree certificate by the guest of honour. In this ceremony 1200 students from various departments received their degrees. Then the principal had lead the graduates in reciting the pledge.
