The IIT foundation of Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus hosted STEM EXPO 2023 in the CNR Hall of Excellence on 20th January,2023 for Std 6 to 8.
The budding scientists exhibited around 100 projects on various concepts in science, engineering and mathematics. The expo was organised with the view to encourage and inculcate scientific temper among students.
The guests of honour Dr. T.S.BALASUBRAMANIAN, Scientist and
Shri R Raveendran, former DRDO Scientist took keen interest in viewing the exhibits and interacted with the students who exuded confidence while explaining the projects that were on display.
The exhibition started at 10:00 am and it was open to all the parents. Static and Live models like Smart movable dustbin, Earthquake alarm, Electromagnetic crane and many more were in the display.
A large number of parents who witnessed the mega expo enjoyed and appreciated the projects on display. It was a huge success.
The STEM EXPO 2023 has created a unique platform to enable the students to explore careers, programs and pathways in the STEM domain.
