Master V. S. Shashank Class 7 of Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus has clinched the 2nd Prize at the 13th Modern School International FIDE Rating Chess Championship in the U-12 category with an outstanding score of 5 out of 7 held in Modern Senior Secondary School, Chennai recently.
This international event was organised by by Modern Senior Secondary School, Nanganallur wherein around 500 students participated across the country.
